Holroyd City Council |
Originally known as the Municipality of Prospect and Sherwood it was incorporated in February 1872, in 1927 it was renamed the Municipality of Holroyd after Arthur Todd Holroyd, the first mayor. In December 1990 was declared City of Holroyd.

Parramatta City Council |
Initially in 1861 it was formed as Municipality of Parramatta. It became The Borough of Parramatta in 1867, eventually becoming the City of Parramatta in 1938.
In 1948 Ermington-Rydalmere, Dundas, Granville and Parramatta councils were amalgamated.

Blacktown City Council |
Blacktown was originally named for an Aboriginal settlement in the area. Today, Blacktown continues to be home to a large Aboriginal population, the largest of any suburb or township in New South Wales.
A school for Aborigines was moved in 1823 from Parramatta to the site where Richmond Road meets Rooty Hill Road North. The road from Prospect to Richmond became known as the Black Town Road. In 1860 the Railway Department gave the name of Black Town Road Station to the railway station at the junction of the railway and the Black Town Road, with the name shortening to Blacktown by 1862. |  |

Westmead Children's Hospital |
| Westmead Hospital opened in 1978, with 975 beds, as a specialised tertiary referral Hospital for the western metropolitan area, which has a population of 1.5 million people and 15 local government areas. It also acts as the District Hospital for the immediate surrounding community. The Hospital includes a Dental School, opened in 1981, and a 30 bed unit for emotionally disturbed children Redbank House). Patients are admitted by referral and through an extensive Accident and Emergency and Outpatients service. In close proximity to the Hospital are 14 multi-storey staff residential buildings accommodating 540 people. The Hospital has staff recreational facilities with a Clubhouse on the oval, swimming pool and tennis courts. |  |
